Dr. Kenneth Woo
Dr. Woo graduated from Howard University in 1982. Shortly after, he began practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in Silver Spring, and in 2000, he opened his practice in Kensington. His Gaithersburg practice followed seven years later. Dr. Woo’s passion for helping people makes dentistry a perfect career for him. He truly enjoys helping patients overcome dental fear, and he has 28 years of experience doing just that. (Read what our patients say about him.)
Ongoing education has always been a priority for Dr. Woo. He stays abreast of the latest dental treatments and technology, such as flapless implant surgery and laser periodontal treatments, so he can offer our patients an advanced level of care. He’s a valued member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, among other dental associations.
Dr. Woo and his wife, Lisa, have been married since 1981, and they have two children, daughter Vivian and son Edmond. Dr. Woo is proud to report that his son is following in his footsteps, graduating from dental school in 2010.
Dr. Edmond Woo
Dr. Edmond Woo, a native of Maryland, received his undergraduate degree in physiology from the University of Maryland, College Park and his DDS degree from the University of Maryland Dental School. After dental school he moved on to complete a general practice residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn New York where he had the opportunity to work in an emergency room setting. This experience has granted him the knowledge, composure and confidence to be a proficient clinician. Outside of dentistry Dr. Woo enjoys music, photography and snowboarding among other hobbies.
Dr. Candice Turpin
Dr. Candice Turpin graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2005. She completed a one-year residency in Flagstaff, AZ, where she worked on an Indian reservation and in a community health center. Dr. Turpin is married, and she and her husband recently welcomed a baby girl named Kendall into their family. In her free time, Dr. Turpin enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling, and playing sports.
Dr. Susan Green
Dr. Susan Green Dr. Susan Green graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1996. She then completed her General Practice Residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Green practiced General Dentistry in Long Island, NY and Manhattan for 10 years before moving to the DC area. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, and oil painting.
